If you live in New Zealand only in the city you do not need a car, but if it is not, the car is almost a necessity. Bus traffic is not good, and it is recommended to buy a car because it is not easy to pay.
1. Facebook marketplace.
It is my favorite Facebook Marketplace. There are fewer properties than New Zealand's local site trade, but there are quite a lot of properties, and it is quite convenient to touch and see your property once you touch it.
It is not only for sale but also for house rental and flat house, second hand, second hand goods, and job search.
Sometimes there are people who do not have a marketplace on their personal facebook, but i have tried to figure out how to marketplaces, but I do not know yet.
And because the Facebook Marketplace is a personal-to-business deal, you may feel a little nervous. You will feel more safety when you buy a car in car dealer shop.
2. Trade Me
New Zealand's largest trading site. In Australia, it's like a Gumtree, where everything is traded, and of course there are used cars. There are often a lot of deals on the trade for person-to-person trades and auction for used cars ( I have a bit of a refection because I have not tried the auction.).
Of course, it sells and deals with more than just cars and Facebook Marketplace, and it's a popular site in New Zealand. And it is also very useful site because it is made to e able to come out with application and to be able to see easily with mobile phone.
This is also a person-to-person deal, so there are some risks involved in used car dealings.
3. Needacar
When I first bought a car, I searched for various things, and when I bought a used car, it was a site that I looked up at a recommendation of and acquaintance that it was safe to buy a dealer. This site shows dealers shops in New Zealand and it is easy to compare with other properties by showing prices, car condition and prices.
In fact, this site does not show all of New Zealand dealers' shops, but shows a large number of dealer shops. I used the site to go to the dealership first and bought a car ( I went back to AA and repaired it.)
Unlike the two sites above, the site is only for sale and deals with dealer shops rather than individual transactions. Of course, it is a little safer and more reliable than a person-to-person deal, but I recommend you try it driving out and inspection before you buy it
There are the sites I have seen when buying cars in New Zealand and can actually be more. Still, I think that there are almost all of New Zealand's car deals. And I recommend you to check your car carefully. What seems to be the best way to get AA and check in.
